In close cooperation with municipal stakeholders, we develop a uniform data infrastructure that can be used as a basis for successfully implementing tried-and-tested smart city applications – whether commercial or open source: We bring municipal stakeholders and solution providers directly into contact with each other. The DKSR.square web portal is a quick way to find out which data-based solutions already exist for existing challenges. Companies can present their applications free of charge.

WHAT MAKES DKSR SPECIAL FOR COMPANIES:
Easy Market Access
The DKSR.square web portal gives cooperating municipalities and municipal subsidiaries access to solutions from our partner companies. On the portal, providers can register their products, commercial or open-source, and communicate them to municipal partners. Companies also have the opportunity to identify current challenges facing cities and to participate in the discussion about possible solutions.
Independent ecosystem
We do not develop our own solutions and therefore act independently. Our role is to facilitate access to data in order to develop solutions that benefit all cities and regions. We provide technical advice and establish contacts – regardless of whether it’s a small start-up, a medium-sized company, or a major corporation.
Standardized data access
We are establishing a uniform infrastructure in all DKSR partner municipalities. Once the respective municipality has approved it, data can be obtained from our platform via an interface. We take over the high workload of connecting the different systems on-site for you. In consultation with our municipal customers, we also provide transparency about available data in a uniform data catalog.
Clear division of labor
You are the experts for product development. DKSR takes care of a functioning infrastructure (data acceptance and provision), which you can use as a basis for the deployment of your data-specific offerings.
Transparent co-creation
Together with you, we want to bring structure to the complex urban data market: from the definition of data models to joint funding and research projects to the pooling of resources and publication of positions.
