Designing cities and regions with data
Understanding systemic complexity and designing cities purposefullyThe current functions
More options for your digital twinThe digital Twin in CIVORA
Why?
By integrating your digital twin into CIVORA, you can expand its functionality and control it centrally together with your other smart city data solutions in one web interface. This allows you to work together with other municipal stakeholders across departments – securely and in compliance with the law.
How?
In CIVORA, you can link your digital twin, for example, with the Urban Data Catalog to get an overview of all the metadata of the data used. This way you can find out where, for example, the data for the displayed buildings is located and request further data directly from the data owner. With the integrated role and rights system, you can also control which users can view the public and internal areas of the digital twin. In addition, you can combine all other modules, such as analysis tools or dashboards, with your digital twin.
Results?
You operate your twin centrally via your city's Smart City Data Hub and benefit from additional functions to make your urban planning even more efficient. What's more, you will find all the data in one place and can use it there. This saves a huge amount of resources when searching for, processing, connecting and using data.
Services related to digital twins
More options for your digital twinWe will work with partners to develop your digital data infrastructure into an urban digital twin. Alternatively, we can help you create a complete solution that is precisely tailored to your plans and goals.
We will meet you where you are
A geodata infrastructure often already exists and your digital city twin can be set up on top of it. That is why we first analyze the status quo and use the results to develop the required target architecture.
Exactly what you need
What exactly is your goal? If you only want the digital twin to support you in the planning process, for example, then neither real-time data nor AI modules are necessary. That is why we work with you to determine what you need and use this to develop a technology roadmap for your digital twin that will enable you to successfully implement your plans in an efficient way.
Together with partners
Some components, such as the Urban Data Platform, the analysis module or the dashboards, are provided as open-source modules. Other elements, such as the GIS system or the 3D model, are implemented together with experienced partners such as RIWA, Virtual City Systems, Elie or 3DS. We are happy to take on the coordination and support you in commissioning and operating your digital twin.
Evidence-based decisions
You can run through as many scenarios as possible to decide on the most effective and efficient measures.Save resources
You will find all data in one place and can use it there, which saves a huge amount of time for data preparation and search.Fast responsiveness
Real-time data and forecasts enable you to respond quickly to challenges.Citizen participation
Good visualizations and interaction in the digital twin offer new possibilities for citizen participation and increase the acceptance of new projects.Standardized database for consistent planning
The digital twin combines data from various municipal stakeholders, who can all access and work with a common set of data.Lea Hemetsberger
