Our projects and use cases

Municipal data systems I CIVORA project
Identifying and managing heat islands, determining the utilization of e-charging stations or analyzing the energy data of selected buildings - municipalities have long been confronted with these and similar challenges. Keyword: Efficient digital services of general interest! This requires a large amount of data that can be shared both within cities and between municipalities in a legally secure manner. This is exactly what is possible with the Kommunale Datenwerke (KDW).

City of Troisdorf I CIVORA project
Sustainable urban development, inner city revitalization and better information for citizens. One important measure was a city app with real-time data in a mobility and leisure map with real-time information. But that was just the beginning. We are currently accompanying and supporting Troisdorf in improving cooperation within the administration with data and optimizing citizen communication in terms of transparency. The Smart City Data Hub CIVORA with its data catalog and dashboard modules is being used for this. In addition, existing systems, such as the mobility and leisure map, were integrated into CIVORA and, as a brand new feature, a climate dashboard was implemented.

TransParEnergy I Analysis tools

Where does the highest energy consumption and therefore the highest CO₂ emissions occur? Only if you can answer this question can you effectively shape the heating transition locally. But the necessary data is often lacking. In the TransParEnergy project, we are currently developing a solution that addresses precisely this issue: a tool that building owners can use to track their energy consumption and potential savings. The resulting data flows back into municipal models - and enables well-founded strategies for planning the heating transition.
