A future-proof data infrastructure for a sustainable Troisdorf
Project overview
A future-proof data infrastructureSince 2023, we have been supporting the city of Troisdorf in expanding smart technologies for data-supported urban development. The goals include sustainable urban development, city center revitalization and better citizen information. To this end, a mobility and leisure map with real-time information was initially integrated into a newly launched city app.
We are currently assisting and supporting Troisdorf in improving collaboration within the administration with data and optimizing citizen communication in terms of transparency. The Smart City Data Hub CIVORA with its data catalog and dashboard modules is being used for this. In addition, existing systems, such as the mobility and leisure map, were integrated into CIVORA and, as a brand new feature, a climate dashboard was implemented.

Project goals
- Optimize intra- and inter-municipal cooperation with data
- Improving the legally compliant exchange of data
- Further develop opportunities for data-supported operational urban development and create the basis for smart decisions
- Monitor climatic developments and their effects
- Inform citizens better and in real time about mobility and leisure activities as well as weather conditions

The technological solution
